Mar 22 The March 21, 2012 celebration by the Allan Simpson Memorial Fund will be followed by a symposium on the afternoon of 22 March 2012 which will examine the disproportionate poverty experienced by Manitobans with disabilities.

Manitoba Access Awareness Week (MAAW) - One in five Manitobans have a disability – some disabilities are visible, others are not.  All Manitobans are either currently affected by disability, or, if they and their parents age well, they will be affected by disability in the future.  So become informed, and help the Disabilities Issues Office celebrate MAAW, May 29 to June 4, 2011.   Visit our website or consider visiting the information display of Manitoba organizations during MAAW in the Foyer at the Manitoba Legislative Bldg, 450 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB.
