welcome Job Seekers
What we really mean by “Job Seekers” is “career-minded people with disabilities.” If that definition fits you, if you are engaged in the workforce or want to be, this Exposition is all about you.
You may be a student, an active job-seeker, happily employed, an entrepreneur with your own business, or someone looking for a career change. You may be someone with a lifelong disability or someone with a recently-acquired one. Yes, if you are one of the (approximately) 180,000 Manitobans with a disability of some sort, you will want to join us at our next Employment Expo.
(In fact, your friends, parents, co-workers, fellow students, teachers and neighbours are all welcome to tag along too.)
No registration is required and attendance is free for most of the Employment Expo. Everyone is welcome to drop in and explore the Exhibit Hall, take part in the Workshops and Seminars (Fees are required to attend either the Best Practices Breakfast.
So, invite some friends, bring along some crisp copies of your Resume, and join us for a fun and upbeat day of information, networking and career/job exploration!
Employment Expo CafÉ
The expo will have its own little café – with tables and a variety of sandwiches, baked goods, fruit and beverages for sale – a great feature to enhance networking opportunities or just grab a quick bite.
